Product Description
The newly designed aluminum frame is not the only improvement made to the 2012 Diamondback Recoil Comp. We've added a RockShox BAR R air rear shock to compliment the SR Suntour XCR RL fork which has 100mm of travel, rebound damping adjust and a remote lock out. The Shimano Rapidfire 8-speed shifters control an Alivio rear derailleur and the Hayes mechanical disc brakes make stopping easy. You won't shy away from the trail on your Recoil Comp.

Killer Frame...just need to upgrade components., This review is from: Diamondback 2012 Recoil Comp Full Suspension Mountain Bike (Black) (Sports) I recently bought this bike because I wanted to try out a full suspension bike, and luckily I was going the cheap route! Most good F.S. bikes out there can cost way over two grand,but this bike i can definitely afford. I recently went on some easy trails with some 4ft. jumps and the bike held together well for now. Someday, I will change out and upgrade most the stock components since they are not the greatest, hence the price!...(rear Rock Shox are air compressed not oil compressed, front and rear disc brakes tend to squeak when making hard turns however they do the job i can stop on a dime!) all this can be fixed by exchanging them for better components! If you are not willing to dish out some heavy cash but you want an affordable first timer full suspension bike then this bike is for you, all other mountain bikers plan on spending money for component UPGRADES!...great frame and look though! |
