The Mongoose® Tech 4 full-suspension men's mountain bike brings you a high-performance, 4-Bar Link, 18-in suspension frame matched with Rock Shox Judy J1 fork for easily handling rough terrain. This bike has a front and rear V-brakes for dependable stopping power and a 24-speed SRAM 4.0 shifting system for responsive gear changes. It also comes equipped with a WTB Speed V saddle and 26-in wheels with Kenda Kharisma XC tires.

The Mongoose Tech 4 men's dual-suspension mountain bike is designed for smooth, efficient riding, helping you hit the trail with confidence. The Tech 4 is equipped with a four-bar link suspension frame and a Rock Shox front fork, which work together to absorb bumps and increase control. The bike also includes a 21-speed SRAM drivetrain with Shimano twist shifters, making it easy to switch gears on straightaways or hills. Other features include a front Promax disc brake and a rear alloy V-brake, 26-inch Kenda Kharisma tires, a Suntour XR170 alloy triple crankset, anodized black rims, and a WTB Speed V saddle.

Got this bike primarily for my commute to work. Yes, even though a mountain bike isn't the most efficient bike for the roads, I wanted something that I could get a little rough with. So far I'm not disappointed at all. The gears did need a little tweaking but after that it's been smooth sailing. The Shimano derailleurs are nice, the dual suspension is terrific (my first bike with any suspension). With probably a few upgrades to components this could be a hardcore bike. For this price it definately competes with $1000 bikes.

Bought this bike on sale for 240 + tax.

First of all it is a good quality bike.

I ride each other day to work (6 mile or 25 minutes cycling one way...) for 2 months.
With my height 6ft this bike is a little bit small for me... maybe for person below 6ft it would be just fine.
It provides nice comfortable ride. It is not super fast. It could be lighter.

Overall it is OK... My next bike would be a road bike :)

Awesome bike for a good price! It looks great and you would recognize your yellow bike from miles away. There is no kickstand but it is not a big deal. It takes 5 min from unpacking to complete assembly if you have an allen wrench at home. I wish an allen wrench was included since it's the only tool necessary to tighten the handle bar.
